Wailing Souls
The Wailing Souls have been producing great music since the 60's. Originally the Renegades, Lloyd "Bread" McDonald and Winston "Pipe" Matthews recorded backing vocals for Ernest Ranglin. Shortly after this they began making big tunes for Sir Coxsone Dodd of Studio One. Some of these recordings are regarded as some of their their best work. A big break in the early 80's brought "Pipe and the Pipers" to Tuff Gong, Bob Marley's label. Solidifying their own style, raw vocals and fat harmonies, combined with a gifted ability to put words to music, The Wailing Souls were able to make music that touched the masses. READ MORE... |
New Kingston
Hailing from Brooklyn New York, 3 brothers led by their father Courtney Panton Sr, who also plays bass on stage with the group call themselves "NEW KINGSTON". Together they incorporate R&B, Hip-Hop and Jazz with their heritage genre Reggae to form their sound. Formed in 2006 in the basement of their Brooklyn home they have performed to other basements and backyards around town to clubs to stadiums worldwide. In support of releasing their sophomore album 'Kingston University' released FEB 2013, New Kingston serves as main support for The Green from Hawaii on their West Coast Liars & Lovers Final Chapter Tour! But before heading home they stop off in Austin, TX for SXSW to play the Flamingo Cantina! With more to come supporting SOJA, Cris Cab & Collie Buddz, New Kingston is on a non stop touring rampage to spread Reggae and Love across the world! |

Junior X is a talented Rastafarian songster whose inspiration hails from the most high.
Born in East Kingston Jamaica, Junior X’s love for music was innate and fostered by his involvement in the school choir while in primary school. He attended the Home Basic School and the ElletsonPrimary School before completing his secondary education at GaynsteadHigh School. While in high school Junior X formed a group called The Brimstone Crew along with several other youths from his neighborhood. Together they spent countless time penning lyrics and performing in the community. Eventually the group grew apart and Junior X was left alone to pursue his musical ambitions. READ MORE... |

Conjunto Liberacion
Conjunto Liberacion, is a 9 piece Salsa Band comprised of musicians of different ethnic backgrounds who grew up listening to and now enjoy playing salsa music. Conjunto Liberacion would love to share their passion and their music with dancers and listeners with the same interest & passion for this genre of music. Led by Hector Conde,(timbales) and Marco Valle, (congas) the group which consists of: Eddie Vidales (bass), Aggy Chukuma (piano), Leo Servin (vocals & percussion) Ness G. (vocals), and backed by the experienced horn section of Mike Breit (trumpet), Dave Metzger (trumpet), Steve Gonsoulin (trombone) & David Bowman (trombone).
Conjunto Liberacion’s repertoire is heavily influenced by the New York City sound of 70’s & 80’s of Groups like; Fania Allstars, Sonora Ponceña, Gran Combo, and Willie Colon & Ruben Blades. Our main objective Is to bring enjoyment thru our music and simply make you dance…
